Venture Valuation was founded in 1999 based on profound research work by the founder and CEO, Dr. Patrik Frei, at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL). The company has remained true to its mission: the independent assessment and valuation of companies, products and assets.
Our focus lies on technology companies in fast growing markets and industries including pharmaceuticals, biotechnology (Biotech), medical technology (MedTech), nanotechnology, renewable energies (cleantech) and information technology (IT) / computer science / software. Our clients include both investors and companies seeking financing, and are domiciled on nearly every continent. Over the course of more than two decades, we have built key strengths and expertise in the life sciences industry.
Biotechgate
In addition to the valuation services, Venture Valuation has established the “Swiss Life Sciences Database” in 2003 which was the cornerstone of the global Business Development and Licensing database Biotechgate. Over the years, Biotechgate has become an independent business unit within Venture Valuation and has grown into a premier information hub and business development tool for all potential stakeholders in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and medical technology
